INDIA
Aastha Mittal
22nd August, 2020
A land of diversities,
Clutched together.
Separated cultures,
But connected souls.
Oh! we are the moppets
Of mother India
And I bow to her.
A land of colours,
Coral and crimson.
Varied languages,
Reminds one of
Paralleled beads in the strongest thread.
Oh! we are the moppets
Of mother India
And I bow to her.
A land of Mandir and Maszids,
With morning prayers and evening namaaz.
East and West
With north and south,
Blended like a beautiful chaos.
Oh! we are the moppets
Of mother India
And I bow to her.
A land of Appetizing foods,
Aroma in the air.
The world allures and we owe,
To the sweating drops of our farmers.
Oh! we are the moppets
Of mother India
And I bow to her.
A land of heroes,
Their Bleeding bodies.
Rich and poor,
Marched together
To liberate their motherland.
Oh! we are the moppets
Of mother India
And I bow to her.
Jai Hind!
