ON A RAINY DAY

The Sane Writer (Susmitha Rekha)

10th August, 2020

Drenched in rain, she ran through the streets searching for him. He lost his way from her.As it was an unknown city many thoughts arose in her mind. But her tiny little heart convinced her brain to be optimistic.

She cried for help, but all ears went deaf. Dusk was falling rapidly and she became weaker and weaker.
She was soaked in guilt from head to toe and there was nothing left for her even to cry.

She came back to the place where she started helplessly. To her astonishment he was in the same place eating ice cream where she thought he had lost his way. She ran furiously towards him with her arms waiting to hug him tighter and her heart was waiting to beat slower.

She hugged him as he was the only precious diamond in the world.

This is the attachment a mother has with her son. So finally I revealed the two characters...a mother and her son.

But the point I want to convey is little different. Many times due to our overthinking we miss basic points and ultimately go to depression or mental illness. It not only ruins our lives but also the lives of people who are dependent on us.

If the mother had searched for her son in the same place where they were in the morning, she could have eradicated all the difficulty.

Likewise, in our life too we should first know ourself and then try to know others. Analyze the mistake first and then try to find the solution. Otherwise life will become a question mark filled with ambiguity.
