WELCOME TO 21st CENTURY

Hey, welcome to our so called “COOL” generation where everyone takes a lot of pride being a part of this generation , you must have known by now that I am talking about children of this generation specifically teenagers. So ya here we go what made us so cool in this 21st century.

Looking at the bright side of this generation first, I believe we are much more open – minded generation as compared to 80’s or 90’s which is very good. Likely there are many such good qualities that this generation possess collectively. But I won’t talk about those stuff today , but ya today I would like to highlight some not so good qualities about this generation. So here I go. Our generation is normalizing drinking and smoking. Why? Oh it makes us look Cool Dude ! Our generation thinks that speaking Hindi is yuck , please only English , like wow some of us don’t even respect or let me put it as give importance to the official language of our own country. On the other side now if you think by speaking only English purposely in American accent will make look cool, No ! Clear no, you should have taken citizenship of America if that’s the case. We aren’t realizing that English is overshadowing our Hindi. Speak English but don’t act like you don’t know Hindi or you are alien to it. That’s not cool. English has it’s own place in every country but keeping your traditional language (which is none other than Hindi ) alive is the responsibility of that country itself, especially the younger generation. Now I won’t even ask you about Sanskrit (the mother of all languages) as when you couldn’t handle Hindi , Sanskrit would be impossible for you. This is not cool guys .

Our generation has also been normalizing being physical at a very young age , like OMG! I go crazy seeing people judging other person’s ” Swag ” by their virginity . Now I am not talking particularly being physical with one person you love and all , no it’s like for eg :- Being physical in relationship with a person then breaking up . Wow! This isn’t cool, anyways if you are thinking that hook-ups and all are cool it isn’t . In this generation hardly today we can find true love other’s are just time-pass , why? Oh it makes us “Cool”. But one day you will understand the importance of having one real person not for body but for soul and it will be too late for your young “Cool” minds . Seriously now I agree with that song “Young , dumb & broke high-school kids” . Sometimes I am really shocked seeing school kids talking about breakups and love . Someone needs to teach them ” CORRECT -TIMING”. I strongly believe that this generation is growing pretentious day by day. A generation where fake smiles & fake friends is normal. Where making fun of teachers is Cool . Where our validation comes from our social life. This generation can make any senseless stuff viral and hype over it rather than supporting real talent . This generation is very comparative they don’t want to be best version of themselves rather follow someone else , I don't know why some people think bragging about their money makes them “Cool “. No this isn’t cool. Those are your parents money , you need to earn yours and then spend that and then realize what’s Cool.

Basically conclusion is apart from bright side of this generation the dark side is quite scary , these are few of the stuffs I’ve mentioned above but still there are many such which we have to realize is not “Cool”. Remember however modern you become your manners , the way you talk , your kindness will be the very first thing that people will see in you. Focus on that , have confidence in your upbringing and you don’t need to fit in this generation ignore these kinds of “PEER PRESSURE” .
